Mississippi psychiatry, therapy, advanced treatment and patient-access guide
Use Right Track Medical Group Without Losing Time Between Intake, Treatment and Follow-Up
Right Track Medical Group provides outpatient mental healthcare for children, teenagers and adults age six and older at seven clinics across Mississippi. Care may include psychiatric assessment, medication management, therapy, telehealth and selected advanced depression or ADHD services.
This guide explains what the practice does, which clinic to contact, how a new-patient request works, what to prepare, how insurance verification should be handled, how to use the portal and refill form, and where to turn when outpatient care is not safe or fast enough.

Is Right Track Medical Group the right place for your need?
OUTPATIENT APPOINTMENT
Symptoms are affecting daily life, but immediate safety is stable
Request an assessment for anxiety, depression, mood changes, trauma symptoms, attention concerns, postpartum depression, OCD or another non-emergency mental health need.
Best for: scheduled evaluation, medication decisions, therapy, treatment monitoring and longer-term follow-up.
URGENT CLINICAL CONTACT
An existing patient is worsening or having a medication problem
Call the treating clinic rather than submitting only a routine portal or refill request. Explain the change, medication, timing and current safety concern.
Best for: worsening symptoms, significant side effects, missed medication instructions or a time-sensitive provider question.
CRISIS OR EMERGENCY
There is immediate danger or the person cannot remain safe
Use 988, Mississippi Mobile Crisis, 911 or the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for an outpatient web-form response.
Best for: suicide attempt, imminent plan, dangerous overdose, severe agitation, violence, weapon access or medical instability.
Simple decision rule: Right Track is appropriate when care can safely occur through scheduled outpatient visits. A crisis service or emergency department is appropriate when delay could place the patient or another person in danger.
Physician-led outpatient care
What Right Track Medical Group does
Right Track Medical Group describes itself as a physician-led specialty mental healthcare organization. Its current Mississippi network brings psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists and other professionals into an outpatient model.
Early intervention
The practice aims to address symptoms before they progress to a level requiring crisis stabilization or inpatient treatment.
Individual treatment planning
The first assessment is used to determine whether the patient needs medication visits, therapy, both services, another evaluation or referral elsewhere.
Ongoing maintenance
Follow-up can continue after the initial treatment phase, especially during major stress, life transitions or symptom recurrence.
Ways a patient may enter care
Self-referral by contacting Right Track directly
Referral from a primary-care physician
Referral after an emergency department visit
Referral after hospital or psychiatric-facility discharge
Medication management while continuing with an outside therapist
Provider referral through the professional referral form
Referral does not always mean insurance approval. A clinician can refer the patient while the insurance plan still requires a separate behavioral-health referral, prior authorization or network confirmation.

Current clinic directory, community context and final checks
| Clinic |
Address |
Local context |
Check before traveling |
| Biloxi |
1633 Popps Ferry Road, Suite A, Biloxi, MS 39532 |
Gulf Coast clinic located near the Innovation Center area. |
Confirm the suite because older Right Track material listed a previous Popps Ferry Road address. |
| Hattiesburg |
101 Aldersgate Circle, Hattiesburg, MS 39402 |
Convenient for Hattiesburg and the University of Southern Mississippi area. |
Ask whether the visit is in person, telehealth, TMS or another service with separate arrival instructions. |
| Madison |
117 Fountains Boulevard, Suite 1, Madison, MS |
Located near the Highland Colony Parkway corridor. |
Verify the ZIP in the appointment message because the current website footer displays an inconsistent Madison ZIP. |
| Olive Branch |
9035 East Sandidge Road, Suite 201, Olive Branch, MS 38654 |
DeSoto County clinic near the Olive Branch Family Medical Center area. |
Confirm building entrance, floor and suite before leaving home. |
| Oxford |
1203 Medical Park Drive, Oxford, MS 38655 |
Useful for Oxford, Lafayette County and the University of Mississippi community. |
Students should ask whether documentation, billing or appointment reminders can be kept separate from family contacts. |
| Starkville |
200 MS-12 East, Starkville, MS 39759 |
Accessible to Starkville and the Mississippi State University community. |
Ask which services are physically offered here because the location page does not list every advanced treatment shown elsewhere on the website. |
| Tupelo |
4428 South Eason Boulevard, Suite 1, Tupelo, MS 38801 |
Located across from the Specialty Orthopedic Group area. |
Ask whether the appointment is therapy, medication management, Qb testing or telehealth because preparation differs. |
Do not drive to the address from an old search result. Right Track has moved or changed some clinic information over time. Use the location shown in the current appointment confirmation.
New-patient workflow
How to request a Right Track Medical Group appointment
Decide which service you are requesting
Choose medication management, psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, psychological testing, TMS or Spravato when the form asks.
Select the most practical clinic
Consider provider availability, patient age, service availability, insurance and travel—not distance alone.
Enter the patient’s legal information
Use the name, date of birth, phone and email that should appear in the medical record.
Provide a safe contact method
The form asks for consent to receive care-related texts or emails. Use contact information the patient can access privately.
Submit the official request
The web form is a request for scheduling contact; it does not itself confirm an appointment time.
Allow the stated response period
The official form asks patients to allow up to three business days for a response.
Follow up if no one responds
After the third business day, call
662-234-7601. Confirm that the request was received and ask whether more information is needed.
Do not wait when safety worsens
Use crisis or emergency care if the patient’s condition becomes unsafe while waiting for scheduling.
Why two timelines appear online: Right Track describes a goal of rapid access, sometimes within one or two business days. Its online form separately asks patients to allow up to three business days for a response. Treat the shorter timeframe as a goal, not a guaranteed appointment.
Appointment follow-up script
“I submitted a new-patient request on [date] for [service] at the [city] clinic. The patient is [age], the insurance plan is [full plan name], and the safest callback number is [number]. Can you confirm that the request was received, whether the service is available at that clinic, and what information is still needed?”
Prevent intake delays
What to prepare for the first appointment
Government-issued photo identification
Current insurance card, including behavioral-health information
All medications, doses and prescribing clinicians
Medication allergies and serious past reactions
Previous diagnoses and approximate dates
Psychiatric hospitalization and crisis history
Previous medications and why they were stopped
Current therapist, primary-care doctor and pharmacy
Recent laboratory, testing or discharge records
Custody, guardianship or power-of-attorney documents when applicable
School forms or teacher reports for a child assessment
Written questions and treatment goals
Create a one-page symptom timeline
1
When it started
Record the approximate date, life event, illness, pregnancy, medication change or other trigger.
2
How it affects function
Note effects on sleep, school, work, relationships, appetite, concentration and self-care.
3
What has been tried
List therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, hospital care and what did or did not help.
Practical privacy tip: Tell the intake team when voicemail, text, mail or insurance explanations could reveal mental healthcare to another person. Ask which communication options can be adjusted.
First clinical step
What happens during a psychiatric assessment?
The first appointment is intended to understand the person, current symptoms, history, safety, physical-health factors and treatment goals. It is not simply a medication-selection appointment.
Current concerns
The clinician asks what changed, how long symptoms have been present and what is most disruptive now.
Medical and medication history
Physical conditions, prescriptions, substances, supplements, sleep and previous medication reactions may influence the plan.
Mental health history
The assessment may cover previous diagnoses, therapy, hospitalization, self-harm, trauma and family history.
Safety assessment
The clinician may ask direct questions about suicidal thoughts, intent, plans, access to means and risk to other people.
Clinical impression
Symptoms are considered together rather than treating one questionnaire or test score as the complete diagnosis.
Personalized next step
The recommendation may include medication management, therapy, both, testing, another medical evaluation or referral elsewhere.
A useful outcome from the first visit: The patient should understand the working diagnosis or remaining questions, recommended service, medication plan when applicable, follow-up timing, safety instructions and whom to contact if symptoms worsen.

| Spravato |
Provides supervised esketamine nasal-spray treatment for eligible adults under a certified program. |

Location matters: A service appearing on the main website does not mean it is available from every provider or at every clinic. Confirm the exact clinic before scheduling or beginning insurance authorization.
Advanced and testing services
TMS, Spravato and Qb testing require separate preparation
Transcranial magnetic stimulation
Right Track describes BrainsWay Deep TMS as a noninvasive treatment using magnetic pulses to target brain areas associated with conditions such as depression and OCD.
- Expect a treatment course involving multiple visits rather than one session.
- Report metal or electronic implants, seizure history and neurological concerns during screening.
- Ask whether hearing protection is used and which side effects should be reported immediately.
- Confirm insurance authorization before beginning the course.
Spravato or esketamine
Right Track offers supervised Spravato treatment for eligible adults. It is administered at a certified healthcare setting rather than taken home.
- The patient is monitored for at least two hours after administration.
- Plan transportation; the patient should not drive home after treatment.
- Ask about oral-antidepressant requirements and authorization.
- Spravato is not a replacement for emergency intervention during an active crisis.
Qb testing for ADHD
Right Track’s Tupelo information describes a computerized task that measures attention, impulsivity and movement as part of ADHD evaluation and treatment monitoring.
- The computerized task itself is described as approximately 20 minutes.
- Ask whether medication should be taken normally on test day.
- Bring school, work and caregiver observations.
- A QbTest result should be interpreted with clinical history, not by itself.
Clinic availability shown on current location pages
Advanced-service availability that requires final confirmation
| Service |
What current Right Track pages show |
Final verification |
| TMS |
Specifically listed on the Biloxi, Hattiesburg, Madison, Olive Branch and Oxford location pages. |
Ask about the exact protocol, provider, start date and insurance authorization. |
| Spravato |
Promoted through the main service pages and described as available through certified treatment centers across Mississippi. |
Ask which current clinic accepts new Spravato patients and whether the plan covers the drug and observation visit. |
| QbTest |
The current detailed Qb testing page is centered on the Tupelo clinic. |
Ask whether the evaluation requires one or more appointments and which medication instructions apply. |
Report worsening depression, unusual behavior or suicidal thoughts promptly. Advanced treatment does not eliminate the need for active safety monitoring, follow-up and emergency care when required.
Common treatment needs
Mental health conditions addressed by Right Track Medical Group
Depression
Persistent low mood, loss of interest, low energy, guilt, sleep change or reduced functioning.
Anxiety
Ongoing fear, worry, physical tension, panic or avoidance that disrupts daily activities.
ADHD
Attention, impulsivity or activity-level symptoms considered together with development and function.
PTSD and trauma symptoms
Intrusive memories, avoidance, heightened reactions, sleep problems or emotional changes after trauma.
OCD
Unwanted recurring thoughts and repeated behaviors or mental acts performed to reduce distress.
Postpartum depression
Depression, anxiety, guilt, disconnection or functioning problems during the postpartum period.
Mood disorders
Significant mood changes that require careful evaluation of timing, severity, sleep, energy and behavior.
Acute and seasonal stress patterns
Symptoms connected to trauma, seasonal patterns, major change or overwhelming life circumstances.
Symptoms can overlap. Poor concentration can occur with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, substance use or a medical condition. A diagnosis should not be based on one symptom alone.
Patients age six and older
How parents can prepare for child or adolescent care
List symptoms at home, school and social settings
Bring teacher reports or behavior records when relevant
Provide custody or guardianship documents
List pediatric, neurological and developmental history
Bring prior testing, IEP or 504 information when available
List every medicine, supplement and previous reaction
Ask how parent and child interview time will be divided
Ask what information may remain confidential
For attention or behavior concerns
Record where the behavior occurs, how long it has been present, whether teachers see the same pattern, and how it affects learning, friendships and family life.
For depression, anxiety or trauma
Note sleep, appetite, school avoidance, isolation, physical complaints, irritability, self-harm statements and sudden changes in interests or friends.
Do not wait for a routine appointment when a child cannot remain safe. Call or text 988, use Mississippi Mobile Crisis, call 911 or go to an emergency department based on the level of danger.
Remote appointments
Telehealth preparation that prevents a failed visit
Confirm that the appointment is approved for telehealth
Not every evaluation, test or treatment can be completed remotely.
Tell the office where the patient will physically be
Provider licensing and emergency planning may depend on the patient’s location during the appointment.
Test the device before the visit
Check the camera, microphone, speaker, browser, internet connection and portal login.
Choose a private space
Use headphones when privacy is limited and tell the provider who else is in the room.
Keep a backup phone nearby
Provide a number the clinician can call if video fails.
Prepare medication and pharmacy information
Keep bottles or an accurate medication list within reach.
Know the nearest emergency location
The provider may need the patient’s exact physical location during a safety concern.
College-student tip: Confirm whether the patient will be physically in Mississippi during the visit. Traveling home to another state can affect whether the clinician is permitted to complete that telehealth appointment.
Coverage verification
How to verify insurance before a Right Track appointment
Right Track states that it works with many commercial insurance plans and displays insurers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare and TRICARE. A logo does not guarantee that every provider, clinic or treatment is in network.
Read the full plan name
Record the commercial, marketplace, employer, Medicare or military product and behavioral-health network.
Give Right Track the exact member information
Ask whether the chosen provider and clinic participate in that exact product.
Call the insurer separately
Verify the provider by name, location, tax entity and intended service.
Ask about behavioral-health administration
Some medical plans use a separate company or network for mental healthcare.
Verify authorization
Psychological testing, TMS, Spravato and some medication services may have separate medical-necessity or prior-authorization rules.
Ask for expected patient cost
Confirm the copay, deductible, coinsurance and whether professional, drug and observation charges are separate.
Medicare and Medicaid require direct confirmation. The currently published Right Track FAQ says Medicaid is not accepted and describes Medicare at Biloxi, Corinth and Meridian. The current live clinic directory no longer lists Corinth or Meridian, so that FAQ cannot safely be treated as a complete 2026 location list.
Do not assume private pay solves a Medicaid restriction. The current FAQ states that regulations prevent its clinics from seeing Medicaid beneficiaries even when they offer to pay privately. Confirm the current rule before scheduling.
Insurance call script
“My plan is [full plan and network name]. I want care from [provider or service] at the Right Track Medical Group clinic in [city]. Is that provider and clinic in network for psychiatric evaluation, medication management or therapy? Do I need a referral or prior authorization, and what amount is expected at the first visit?”
Payment and estimate planning
What to ask about cost before treatment begins
Right Track’s FAQ states that payment is due at the time of service and that patients may use commercial insurance or private-pay options. When the practice is out of network, its FAQ describes a process in which it may file benefits after the visit and reimburse the covered amount.
New-patient assessment price
Medication follow-up price
Individual or family therapy price
Testing and report fees
TMS evaluation and treatment-course cost
Spravato drug and observation charges
Cancellation or missed-visit policy
Out-of-network claim and reimbursement process
Good Faith Estimate for uninsured or self-pay care
A patient who is uninsured or choosing not to use insurance can ask for a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Federal guidance generally requires an estimate when requested or when qualifying care is scheduled at least three business days ahead.
Ask for separate estimates when needed. A medication visit, laboratory work, prescription, TMS course, Spravato drug and supervised observation may not all be included in one quoted amount.
Cost-estimate script
“I am [uninsured/not using insurance] and would like a written Good Faith Estimate for [service]. Please include the evaluation, follow-up, testing, medication-administration, observation and facility-related charges that Right Track expects to bill.”
Existing-patient tools
How to use the Right Track Medical Group patient portal safely
M
Routine messages
Use the portal for non-emergency questions when the office has instructed patients to communicate there.
D
Documents
Review available visit information, forms or account documents supported by the portal.
A
Account access
Use the correct patient identity and avoid sharing a password between family members.
Do not send an emergency message and wait. Portal messages may not be reviewed immediately. Call the clinic for an urgent existing-patient concern, use 988 for crisis support and use 911 for immediate danger.
The portal name says Beacon
Right Track’s current patient-portal link opens a Beacon outpatient InSync portal. Confirm the patient and practice information before signing in.
You cannot reset the password
Contact Right Track using the existing-patient channel and ask the office to verify the email or phone attached to the account.
You need access for a child
Ask the clinic about proxy or guardian access rather than signing in through the child’s credentials without instructions.
The provider is missing
Confirm that the portal account belongs to the correct Right Track location and patient record.
Medication workflow
How to request a medication refill without creating a treatment gap
Count the medication before it runs out
Submit routine requests early enough to allow clinical review, pharmacy processing and possible insurance authorization.
Select the correct clinic
The refill form asks for the treating location.
Use the patient’s complete identifying information
The form requests name, date of birth, email, phone and insurance type.
Provide complete medication information
Include the medicine name, strength, directions, remaining amount and current pharmacy.
Allow the stated response period
Right Track asks patients to allow up to three business days for a response.
Call when the situation is time-sensitive
Contact the clinic if the medicine will run out before the normal response period or if the patient is having a significant reaction.
Do not abruptly stop a psychiatric medication unless a qualified clinician gives that instruction. Sudden discontinuation can cause withdrawal symptoms or worsening illness. A severe allergic reaction, overdose, breathing problem, loss of consciousness or dangerous behavior requires emergency care.
Refill follow-up script
“I requested a refill on [date] for [medication and strength]. I have [number] doses remaining, and my pharmacy is [name and location]. Can you confirm whether the request was received and whether an appointment, test or authorization is required?”
Mental health information
Patient records, privacy and communication rights
The privacy notice linked by Right Track explains that health information may be used for treatment, payment and healthcare operations. It also describes patient rights involving access, correction requests, confidential communication and disclosure information.
Rights described in the linked notice
- Request access to medical and billing records
- Ask for a correction or amendment
- Request communication through an alternative method or location
- Ask for certain use or disclosure restrictions
- Request an accounting of qualifying disclosures
- File a privacy complaint without retaliation
Important mental-health record distinction
HIPAA generally gives patients access to medical and billing records, but separately maintained psychotherapy notes are treated differently and are generally excluded from the standard right of access.
Privacy-office information: The notice linked by Right Track lists the Beacon Privacy Office and compliance hotline at
844-857-8813. Its stated effective date is September 25, 2024.
Use secure channels for sensitive details. Do not place a complete psychiatric history, Social Security number, insurance image or medication record into an ordinary email unless the practice specifically provides secure instructions.

Call 911 instead of waiting for Mobile Crisis when immediate physical safety cannot be maintained. Tell the dispatcher about weapons, overdose, injuries, violent behavior and the person’s location.
Troubleshooting
What to do when the patient process stalls
No response to the new-patient form
Call after the third business day. Confirm the form was received and that the contact information is correct.
The nearest clinic lacks the service
Ask whether another Right Track location or telehealth can provide it before requesting a completely new intake elsewhere.
The insurer says the provider is out of network
Ask Right Track for the billing entity, provider name and location used for claims, then verify again with the insurer.
Medicare information is unclear
Do not rely on the generic homepage logo or the inconsistent FAQ location list. Obtain confirmation for the exact current clinic.
A refill has not reached the pharmacy
Confirm the request date, medication, pharmacy location, remaining doses and whether an appointment is overdue.
The portal login fails
Use the existing-patient form or call the clinic to verify the email and patient account.
The patient’s condition worsened while waiting
Move to urgent clinical contact, Mobile Crisis, 988, 911 or an emergency department based on the safety risk.
A treatment result is disappointing
Contact the treating provider before stopping medication or abandoning the plan. Ask what response timeframe was expected and what alternatives remain.
